Finally Vow'd; Love Celebration in Chapel Hill, NC

Kander & Dwight - after 2 postponements, a courthouse wedding, and threats of the Delta Variant, Kander & Dwight finally got to celebrate their marriage at the Chapel Hill Country Club in September with the sweetest vow renewal in front of their closest friends and family! We've worked together for almost 3 years now and it was so so special that we were able to finally celebrate their love!

The Details

Can you say gorgeous? The great thing with gorgeous venues is you need minimal decor - just enough to personalize it to you and that's what Kander and Dwight did. The lanterns they found - gorgeous! The personalized details - sentimental. And everything described them so perfectly: They wanted to have a fun and beautiful day but not break the bank - that's what you get from a couple of financial consultants! and guess what, it was the perfect day!

The Ceremony

This pair took COVID and the Delta (+whatever else is out there) Variant seriously and we are so grateful for that! We checked each guest's temperature with a no-contact thermometer prior to their entry into the ceremony and then we were ready to celebrate! Anyone who wasn't able to make it or didn't pass the temperature check was able to log in to a private Facebook group to stream the ceremony live. This was our second Facebook live stream this year, I think Spencer's getting pretty good at it. And I love the special moments that the couple gets with their online guests after the ceremony with live streaming! These two utilized the intimate courtyard space next to the clubhouse and it was the most perfect setting for these heartfelt vows.

The Reception

We started with some great introductions, first dance, and then jumped right into a delicious station dinner overlooking the putting green at Chapel Hill Country Club, complete with lobster mac and cheese (drooling emoji). We started the evening with toasts sharing the most sentimental memories and wishes and then got the party started with a full dancefloor, hype photobooth, and some incredible desserts. At the end of the night, we sent Kander & Dwight off with a ribbon sendoff!

The Beautiful Couple

When I say these two are a power couple it is the TRUTH. I already knew they were incredibly hard-working people because we had been working together for almost 3 years, and I also knew they were intelligent and kind - but then when the toasts started, omg cue the waterworks. Not only did their friends and families each individually speak to how they have already grown together, but they also each mentioned the love that radiates around them. These two have the most amazing souls and ambition and I know they are going to grow together for so many years to come! I can't wait to watch their story and family grow in love!
